MUSICALLY SPEAKING WITH RAS LEO
October 4, 2021 – Castries, Saint Lucia – Hailing from the city of Castries in Saint Lucia, Ras Leo is on a musical journey which started four years ago.
Leo Felix known in the musical circles as Ras Leo better known for his vending of delicious vegetarian delights around the city of Castries, embarked on his becoming a musician four years ago when he gave himself a guitar for his birthday and proceeded to learn how to play with lessons from books and on tutorial videos on You Tube. He progressed nicely and about three years later he discovered the art of songwriting and began composing and singing original tunes.
After recording three of his songs as demos, he invited his friends and family to take a listened and got very good feedback as they encouraged him to pursue his musical career. It was then that he decided to take his music to the next level and build a team around him to produce his first professionally produced track ‘Warrior’.
‘Warrior’ was produced by Werner Semi Francis of FourYa Studios and Meriah St. Louis of MS Studios with Jennifer St. Louis performing the background vocals. The video of this song was produced by Calabash TV and the photo shoot by Allen Chery of Pass Gallery.
This song was chosen out of many written thus far, and he says “it is dedicated to the Almighty, who is my provider of the gift of my music and has been my support on my journey.”
Ras Leo looks forward to bringing to the world, positive music as his journey continues.
