5 St. Lucian Soca Artists we’re looking forward to hearing new music from

The pandemic has in particular hit the entertainment industry very hard. Understandably, many artists have not released with the same frequency as they used to prior to the pandemic. Needless to say, many fans still look forward to music from some of St. Lucia’s top artists. Here’s a list (in no particular order) of the artists we look forward to hearing music from.

Shemmy J – Shemmy has given us hits like Bouncing, Pretty On Purpose and Start Ah Fire. We’re looking forward to hearing something new from the O Side boss !

Kisha – Kisha has been the leading female Soca Artiste for some time in St. Lucia. The TPM singer has been quiet for some time.  We look forward to some new material from her.

Arthur Allain – The 5 time Groovy Monarch has released a slew of hits, namely, Numb, Dat Beat and West Indian to name a few. He has also ventured into producing and singing reggae music. We look forward to hearing some new music from King Arthur !

Sedale – The last time we heard from Sedale he was making all the big bumper gyals Push Back ! The “Top Chop” as he’s been recently nicknamed has been particularly quiet on social media. Hopefully he’s working on some fire music. We can’t wait to hear some new music from the DTS head honcho.

Ezra D’funmachine – You can’t say energy without mentioning the man that hails from Gros Islet. Ezra has been on the Soca scene for quite some time, giving us hits like Bachannal Rampage, Big Ride and X. We haven’t heard any new music from Ezra in a while, but we look forward to hearing a new project from him.

This list is just our WARMER LIST… We’re actually set to release a top 50 list which would include genres like Dennery Segment,Reggae,Jazz,Hip Hop and Western (HELL NO! JOKE!). Look out for the list end of December 2021.
