MHMC Speaks on Robbery at National Mental Wellness Centre
Castries, Saint Lucia (December 15, 2021) – Millennium Heights Medical Complex (MHMC) is
aware of a reported robbery at the National Mental Wellness Centre, and has sought the
assistance of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force in investigating the matter. The incident
occurred around 1 am on December 15, 2021. Although the matter is still being probed by the
law enforcement authorities, it can be confirmed that three staff members were impacted by
the incident.
MHMC, and the Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs are concerned about the well-
being of the staff and will provide the necessary support required at this time.
